Please read the following instructions  to get the  Maximum cleaning performance

from your ROGGE products.

ROGGE DUO-Clean Kit and ROGGE Screen Cleaner

This section applies, but is not limited to cleaning the following devices, screens and other sensitive surfaces with the ROGGE DUO-Clean Screen Cleaning Kit and the ROGGE Screen Cleaner:

• Apple iPad, iPhone, iPod, iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro screens

• LED, TFT, LCD, OLED, DLP, Ultra HD, Curved and Plasma Flat TV screens

• Smartphone and not-so-smart-phone screens

• Tablet, notebook, laptop and touchscreen computer screens

• GPS screens and other automotive displays & surfaces

• CD, DVD and Blue-Ray discs

• Cameras and other electronic devices

• Oleophobic and Apple Retina Multi-Touch displays

• Screen protector film

• Helmet visors, snowboard and motorcycle goggles

• optical lenses,  sun and regular glasses

• Other sensitive surfaces

preparation

• Turn off, and unplug electrical devices.

• Surfaces should be room temperature, or below. Let surface cool down if too warm.

• DO NOT spray directly on screens or surfaces.

• If  excessive dust layer is  visible, remove it first by gently wiping the surface with a clean and dry  microfiber cloth.

• Use original ROGGE microfiber cloth only. 

• Clean most sensitive surfaces first (e.g. screen or lens), before moving on to less sensitive surfaces (e.g. stand, housing, keyboard).

Fold ROGGE Microfiber cloth into fourths, and moisten with ROGGE Screen Cleaner.

Spray 4 to 6 times on cloth (don't get carried away).

Wipe surface multiple times (with moist side) using light pressure.

• Repeat on tenacious stains.

• Don't try to "clean off" permanent scratches, etc., chances are you're making the damage worse.

Turn cloth over, and polish surface with dry clean section until streak-free.

Especially Apple Retina® and other high gloss  display screens need to be polished with dry side of cloth.

done  Wash ROGGE Microfiber Cloth if dirty (no fabric softener or bleach), then air dry (no heat).

ROGGE Plastic Cleaner

This section applies, but is not limited to cleaning the following surfaces with the ROGGE Plastic Cleaner:

• Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET or PETE)

• High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)

• Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)

• Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)

• Polypropylene (PP)

• High impact polystyrene (HIPS)

• Polyamides (PA)

• Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS)

• Polyethylene/Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (PE/ABS)

Spray ROGGE Plastic Cleaner on microfiber cloth.

• DO NOT SPRAY CLEANER DIRECTLY ON ELECTRONIC DEVICES OR SURFACES TO AVOID RUNOFFS.

• We highly recommend the  ROGGE Vileda Professional Microfiber cloth for optimum cleaning results and surface protection.

• Make sure the surface is cold and not exposed to direct sunlight or other similar heat sources.

• Repeat on tenacious stains. DO NOT INCREASE PRESSURE.

frequent  Screen and Lens Cleaning Mistakes 

Here are the most common mistakes people do when cleaning their TV, computer screens or devices:

• Regular glass cleaners and other household cleaners

Glass cleaners and other household cleaners contain substances which potentially harm your TV, display, computer screen or optical lenses. For example alcohol, ammonia and citrus acids can attack and dull your screen and lens surface. The damage  is usually irreversible.

• direct sunlight 

You will basically always get streaks on your TV or computer screen when cleaning in direct sunlight, just like when you clean your car or house windows. Direct sunlight will make the cleaner  evaporate too fast, which prevents the cleaning agents from doing their job.

• Cleaning while Too Hot 

ace  with the direct sunlight mentioned above, heat will make the cleaner evaporate too quickly. The cleaning agents can't do their job and you will have streaks on the screen. Make sure the display or surface is at or below room temperature.

• Too Much Pressure 

If you apply too much pressure while cleaning, you will  likely damage the screen or electronics inside the screen. This is not a kitchen sink. Today's LED, LCD, and OLED TV and computer screens are very thin and not made to withstand excessive pressure. Let the cleaner do the job, not the friction from applying too much pressure.

• Water and self-made cleaning 'cocktails' 

Regular tap water contains lime, minerals and other impurities. They are not good  for TV  or  computer screens and can actually damage them permanently. Distilled water is an ineffective  cleaner, it just smears and distributes the dust, dirt  and oils.There are actually DIY websites advising people to make their own cleaner by mixing distilled water and alcohol. Very bad idea! The alcohol can  permanently damage the screen or lens surface.

• Dirty Microfiber Cleaning Cloth 

The ROGGE Microfiber Cloth performs the best when clean. It is specifically designed to clean optical lenses and display screens. It can be used multiple times between washing. If there is dirt clearly visible on the ROGGE Microfiber Cloth, it's probably time to wash it.A dirty Microfiber Cloth increases the risk of being abrasive on your screen, because the particles accumulated during cleaning can't be contained within the Microfiber anymore.

• Low quality Microfiber cleaning cloth or wrong cleaning cloth 

Every cleaning cloth has specific properties and is made for specific applications in various quality levels. Your average Microfiber Cloth is not what you want to use. It won't trap the dirt particles sufficiently and leaves lint all over your display screen. Paper towels are probably the worst, since they are way too abrasive on the screen.This is why we offer the patented ROGGE Microfiber Cloths, which are  specifically designed and made for cleaning LED, LCD, OLED, Plasma TV, computer screens, lenses and other sensitive surfaces.
